UAS Workshop 2018 on standard scenarios

While the discussion leading to the adoption of the regulation on UAS operations in the ‘open’ and ‘specific’ categories is still ongoing at the EU Commission, EASA organised  on 9^th - 11^th July a workshop on standard scenarios with industry and Member States.

Standard scenarios are meant to simplify the activities required to the UAS operators. They are defined types of UAS operation in the ‘specific’ category, for which mitigation measures have been determined after a risk assessment is carried out by EASA or by the competent authority
